• It blocks any bright LED light when the blade is not on the hilt preventing your or others eyes getting damaged.
• It will block any dust or other unwanted things from getting into your in-hilt electronics. Making sure your saber wont get damaged when not using it.
• It completes the look of the saber by covering the hole in the hilt.
